January 2012: Maine Cedar Log Homes has brought back a very popular model from the past, the Kennebago. We’ve updated it, adding the Kennebago I and II…great “get away from it all” retreats, to the Cabin Package Series. Though modest in size, you will have comfortable living, dining and kitchen areas with plenty of natural light, a cathedral ceiling above, plus two bedrooms, a bath and spacious loft. December 2011:Maine Cedar Log Homes has broken ground on a new model home at the office and manufacturing facility in Windham, Maine. The new model home will be the Gunstock floor plan and is expected to be ready for showings in the spring of 2012. We can’t wait to show it in the spring. November 2011:Maine Cedar Log Homes introduces four new models, the Rangeley, Flagstaff, Camden (with attached garage) and Gunstock. The first three floor plans are ranch style homes and offer character along with spacious single floor living. The Gunstock floor plan is a cape/saltbox style, has a small footprint, but with many features found in larger models. Please check them out in our log home gallery»

August 2011:>Maine Cedar Log Homes introduces the Lakeside model,
this chalet style home has open living, dining and kitchen areas with cathedral ceilings above, three bedrooms and two baths, a lot to offer for its modest size.

May 2011: Maine Cedar Log Homes updates their web-site Photo Gallery showing many models from start to finish, as well as interiors and exteriors. These photos are meant to give customers creative ideas and empower them to design their own unique Maine Cedar Log Home floor plan.

April 2011: Maine Cedar Log Homes adds a Learning Center to their web-site. The Center includes: Steps, Building Timeline, Responsibilities, Planning Worksheet and Turn-key Estimating form. The Learning Center helps by clarifying the process of building a Maine Cedar Log Home; making it a pleasant experience from the early planning stages to the day you move in.

February 2011: Maine Cedar Log Homes introduces a new interior/exterior log railing option.

January 2011: Maine Cedar Log Homes introduces their E-news letter. The E-news letter includes information beneficial and informative to our customers: upcoming open houses, promotions, useful links, plans, programs and building packages.

December 2010: Maine Cedar Log Homes adds a 44’ x 18’ display wall; this wall shows our northern white cedar with the hand-hewn look for our 3x6, 3x8 and 4x6 log sizes. This allows customers to view the logs side-by-side and makes choosing the size they want for their Maine Cedar Log Home easier.

October 2010: Maine Cedar Log Homes announces the addition of an AV computer to the display office/model for customers to view floor plans and photos of many of our white cedar log homes.

Eric comes to Maine Cedar from Hancock Lumber with vast experience in both the building trades and the landscape design world.
